I want to export hive table to RDBMS database table. I tried below command but it only works when the table is in hive "default" database. sqoop export --connect "jdbc:sqlserver://x.x.x.x:1433;username=aaa@bbb;password=qqqq;database=dddd" --table table1 --hcatalog-table tbl1 but i want to export table from database i have created in hive.

Thanks for the reply. can you please give me the proper document for this. do i need to store the hive result some where like in RDBMS and then i can plot ? i am new to hadoop.

Hello, i am using hadoop on hdinsight. i want to process data in hive and then display the result in visual form like graph chart. how can i do this can anyone give suggetion. can i create a webpage on that i can display the hive query result in graphical format ? if yes, how it is possible ? how can i connect hive with webpage ? thank you

in FIFO scheduler only one job is allowed to run at a time. so the resource of a node will further divides in container or not ? if yes then what is advantage of it as no other job is going to execute at same time?

if data is distributed over 3 nodes. the final result set will be merge of this 3 node data. so my confusion is where this merge operation will be perform ?

i need detail information on in which memory map and reduce task will be performed ? the reduce will bring all the map task's output into one node and than performs reduce and give final output ?
