@raobelina_toky_ Looking at the resolution of your NiFi issues on LDAPS, I have the following questions around Keystore/truststore 1. I am currently using the same keystore/truststore that was internally generated by our identity management team when I had configured for singleuser mode for my LDAP configuration. Does a new one need to be generated for my initial admin user to be able to connect to NiFi? Right now I can't connect with initial admin user. My knowledge of the way keystore/truststore work is very scanty. 2. Can you share the present settings of your authorizers.xml, login-identity-provider.xml that is working (without passwords, of course). I am able to start NiFi with my settings but just can't connect with initial admin user. I have a feeling that it's keystore/truststore issue but can't seem to resolve it

This resolved my problem: "As per the source code it pulls group's cn based on these values. Also comment out below if there is no group inside groups." Instead of putting full DN name, simply put cn name. Thanks. This should be the accepted answer for zeppelin 0.8. Zeppelin version: 0.8; HDP version: HDP 3.1.4

For those who are interest in this matter, i checked my yum history and i had yum task that didn't go well. In this script : /var/lib/ambari-agent/cache/custom_actions/scripts/install_packages.py i changed one parameter Before: # check package manager non-completed transactions if self.pkg_provider.check_uncompleted_transactions(): self.pkg_provider.print_uncompleted_transaction_hint() num_errors += 1 After # check package manager non-completed transactions if self.pkg_provider.check_uncompleted_transactions(): self.pkg_provider.print_uncompleted_transaction_hint() num_errors += 0 then my packages smoothly installed, after that i changed it back .

No i would like to take some file log with (Minifi and nifi ) then writte the raw file to kafka

Hello @Matt Just one more question, i have taileFile ==> RPG, the taileFiile is working but all the data are queued and doesn't pass through the RPG, do you know why ? Thanks Toky

I appreciate the help and thank you for that. I have found the format of the timestamp which is "yyyy-MM-dd'T'HH:mm:ss.SSSXXX" it was a lot easier after that.
