Hi Pavan -- that did indeed allow the install to proceed, but something must be wrong somewhere. It can't seem to configure the database for Hive. I get an error on startup about how the database can't be accessed by the node. Sigh....this all worked in 2.6.3...... org.apache.hadoop.hive.metastore.HiveMetaException:Failed to get schema version.
