Hi Justin, Do we have anything in the CM server logs apart from this ? Try to restart the CM server and see how it goes. If it is a new cluster then probably check the Java version is compatible or not. The below link will be able to show Java compatible details for CDP and HDP : https://supportmatrix.cloudera.com/#Hortonworks

Hi @rajatsachan , While accessing the Ranger UI please try to check the Ranger admin logs. If possible please share the snippet of the error to check. It will be helpful to understand the real cause of the UI issue.

Hi, What is understood is you are trying to add a new agent host. And while doing so you are getting connection refused. If you are trying to install the agent manually , then check if the agent RPM version is same as of Ambari server using command : rpm -qa | grep -i ambari. Check if the connecting port between agent and server is open and is not blocked. Check the agent.ini file has the correct ambari server hostname.

Hi, I can see the error as " Caused by: org.apache.hadoop.hdfs.CannotObtainBlockLengthException: Cannot obtain block length for LocatedBlock" This basically happens because the file is still in being-written state or has yet not been closed. Please check if the file is in use or is being written during the distcp.

Hi Soheer, From the logs it seems the gateway SSL cert got expired. Can you please locate the gateway.jks file in the Knox host , by default it is in location : /var/lib/knox/data*/security/keystores/gateway.jks Move the gateway.jks file to any backup location or rename it. Then restart the Knox service , while restart it will create the new gateway, jks and the service should start up.

Hi Arvind , Can you check the Ambari server logs to see what error you are getting. If you are seeing something like this : Caused by: org.apache.ambari.server.AmbariException: Base url is missing for request RepositoryRequest Try to add this : gpl.license.accepted=true" in /etc/ambari-server/conf/ambari.properties and restart ambari-server.

Hi , I can see you are not using the correct script parameter while running sqlline.py. Please use the below command and check. /usr/hdp/current/phoenix-client/bin/sqlline.py zkhosts:2181/<ZooKeeper Znode Parent> You can check the "ZooKeeper Znode Parent" from Ambari -> Hbase -> Configs . Also if you haven’t enabled Phoenix query , please enable it from Ambari UI -> Hbase -> Configs -> phoenix query (Enable it)

Hi Sihi, I also encountered similar issue while enabling HA on name-node. We fall into this issue usually because we miss some instructions while enabling HA , like in my case I missed one step to create checkpoint on second NN. To overcome this thing , please try to start the HA enabling process once again from Ambari UI . And follow every step again correctly. It will again try to create secondary NN and you will be able to bring back the cluster to green state. Thanks Arun
