Hi Dinesh,
Cloudera no longer offers exams in test centers or approves of the use of our exams in test centers. You can take your exam from any computer, anywhere, at any time. You will find all our exams, including how to purchase and schedule your exam, and how to prepare for your exam on our website at http://cloudera.com/content/cloudera/en/training/certification.html.
There has been no change in the content of the exam.
Cloudera no longer offers practice exams. You can use the study guide to help you study: http://cloudera.com/content/cloudera/en/training/certification/ccdh/prep.html
It is more beneficial to you if you take the Data Engineer exam: http://cloudera.com/content/cloudera/en/training/certification/ccp-data-engineer.html as this is the new Developer Certification.
Thanks,

The exam environment is CentOS 6.6 and only includes Java 7. We hadn't considered adding Java 8, but I'll add it as a feature request.

1) The exam is graded only after the four hours is up or you chose to end the exam early. The exact model for when your scores will be delivered is still being determined. Once the beta period is over you will most likely be notified with an hour or two. 2) You will not find out if anything is incorrect until after the exam is ended. 3) There will be no resubmits. If a question does not specify how to perform the task (which most don't), then any solution that achieves the desired result is acceptable. In some cases, however, problems may require you to work with specific technologies, such as placing data into a table in the Hive metastore or building an Oozie workflow. You would be best advised to be familiar with both approaches. Devon

The exam environment includes a base Maven project preconfigured with all relevant dependencies that you can clone. The local Maven cache contains all necessary JAR files. During the exam, however, the firewall will prevent you from loading any modules that are not already cached. Fortunately, all Hadoop-related JAR files, including things like Guava and Apache Commons are provided in the /opt/cloudera/parcels/CDH/jars directory. Devon
