@tosinghkunal  When you say remote machine I hope you have the ticket in the machine where you are running the beeline command.  If you have the valid tickets could you run the beeline command with option --verbose=true and share the output. @steinsgate  Its definitely not recommended to disable Kerberos for Hive. However if you still want to disable Kerberos please do it at a cluster level and not at Hive level. This is not a supported / certified combination. Thats to have your cluster kerberos but Hive not kerberized. Its either you cluster is Kerberos enabled or not.  ... View more

@denysobukhov  Confirm the JDBC version you are trying to connect? Try upgrading to the latest version https://www.cloudera.com/downloads/connectors/hive/jdbc/2-6-25.html  If the above didn't help please attach the TRACE level driver logs.
