History of Hadoop

I am a masters student. I am writing a research paper about Technology Innovation: Hadoop.

I couldn't find information regarding the adopters of Hadoop. Would it be possible to find such dataset? In one column there would be the name of the company and in the other the date they started using Hadoop. Thank you for the help.

Please check hadoop wiki at https://wiki.apache.org/hadoop though some of the info maybe outdated.
