I have been trying to download HDP Sandbox for last 1 month but not able to complete it up-to 100%. Its size is 20 GB and I have utilized more than 150 GB still not able to complete this 20 GB download as if fails after some times.
While every other providers provide torrent link for such huge file size I don't know why cloudera has not provided.
And if you complain about my internet speed then FYI I tried downloading it from my Company network too.
I am unable to digest that people at Cloudera can't think of this issue and provide some alternative way to download it. I tried searching for alternate way to download it but could not find it.
Here is what you can do to solve this issue:
1. Provide a link that is resume-able.
2. Provide a Torrent link.
No Thanks for wasting my time and bandwidth.

Hi @SShukla ,
The reason that the version of the HDP Sandbox you were attempting to download and what virtualization product you are installing it on is relevant to your downloading issue is because we found out this week that in spite of the presence of hyperlinks on the website for some versions of the sandbox, not all of the versions of the Sandbox for each virtualization product are actually available for download.
I'm happy to hear that you were able to complete the download. Looking over your most recent post it appears that you solved your issue. Can you confirm by using the Accept as Solution button just under your most recent follow-up here so that other members will know it is resolved?

@SShukla you didn't say what version of the HDP Sandbox you were attempting to download, nor what virtualization product you are installing it on.
What error message are you receiving when the download fails? What browser are you using and did you disable any plug-ins when you attempted to resume the download?

Even though your question is absolutely irrelevant, here you go:
I am trying to download: HDP Sandbox 3.1 (latest in case it is 3.01 or something like that )
I am trying to install it on: Vmware.
I am facing issue in downloading it because its size was large and it was not supporting resume-download. So I am looking for a torrent link for all large size vm's irrespective of version or platform.
Thanks.

Finally I will say that after trying multiple times I was able to download it.
Thanks.

Sure I will try to do over this weekend after getting confirmation that there is no legal strings attached to it.
However cloudera community managers should really look for its solution.

May I know how you fixed it? I have been facing the same problem for about a week now and I'm getting really frustrated.

No fix man. I just raised a request to my Employers IT team and wrote a lengthy email to my manager to justify why I need this vm.
Still he was not convinced to approve my request. So did some flattery and paid him visit in his cabin with sweets that was for my Promotion and Voila he approved it.
IT team had all versions of sandbox available with them they copied it to my machine.
If there is any way to share it legally I will be happy to help but I think cloudera should fix this issue.
