Hello @Kevin_Z, I haven't come across such scenario or documentation. Most of the documentation talks about login credential while logging on to the CM. And till now, I don't see a any drawback or issue to use it login credential way. It will be very kind of you to please share a particular business case that you would want to use kerberos to login on CM?

Hello @eMazarakis, Logically, you just search for the process and then use KILL command to kill that process. Hope that helps.

Hello @csegokul , With read on your environment, I am assuming that you aren't using Impala or Spark for query or inserting for Parquet tables. Your show partitions is showing none because info about the partition isn't been seen by metastore. You may choose to sync it with msck repair table. But please bear in-mind that msck repair table isn't a cheap operation. So, depending on the requirement you can choose to use ALTER TABLE. For e.g. for your regular procedure for partition creation, you can use ALTER TABLE with ADD PARTITION. Hope that helps.

Hello @Steve206, Yup, you are right mate. Most of the documentation that I came across talks about ldaps implementation support for hs2. Thinking loud here.. hypothetically if there was an option and with above setup of no-ssl on ad server. starttls secure connection neg. will fail anyways and it will be a standard connection. There is an option to write pluggable class and then set authentication to custom. Hope that helps.

Hello @prabhat10, From your description, following are the assumptions: cm1 = node1 haproxy and hs2 are on same host There is a limitation in your environment haproxy and hs2 can't be on different host. If above assumption is right then you can change the thrift port and share your observations. Hope that helps.
