When using a secured instance of NiFi the user either logs in with username and password or they are identified using their certificate. The user first attempts to access NiFi at which point an account is automatically created without any permissions. Then an administrator can grant permissions and you'll see them on that page you're showing above.

If I create a new template, it is creating a flow.xml.gz and working fine. However If I replace the flow.xml.gz with old flow.xml.gz (one backup taken earlier in same cluster node HDF2.X) nifi UI is not coming after login and giving error as "com.sun.jersey.api.client.ClientHandlerException:
java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out". Have tried with all parameter tuning as described by "Matt Clarke" in some other post but no results. Again If I move old file and replace with new flow.xml.gz then nifi is working fine. Please let me know if anyone faces such issues and probable reason and working around. Thanks, Suman

I am not sure about Hue but from the terminal it can be fixed by exporting the correct oozie server. Use this command to export the oozie url. export OOZIE_URL=http://someip:11000/oozie To get this oozie url you need to use hue to connect you cluster and navigate to Workflows where you can find a tab called oozie . Inside this you should see gauges where a lot of properties will be listed. Look for the property oozie.servers.
