As you suggested, you can use the JoltTransformJSON processor to "flatten" your JSON, but if your use case is as simple as the provided example (where the fields are one level down), you could also use EvaluateJsonPath with the target set to flowfile-content and the JSONPath expression set to $.Person

@Daniel Scheiner To add to the point, I believe that in the future HDP and HDF will be able to use the same Ambari host, but it is not possible currently as Constantin said. This blog post says, "Currently, nodes can not be shared between HDP and HDF. Completely separate clusters (each with its own Ambari and Ranger) are required at this point."

@Daniel Scheiner See my response from Nov 11 at 05:21 PM. It states the same, Cost Based Optimizer decides to use Tez for those queries where Tez can deliver faster that MR.

Hi! I tried to use this setup for MariaDB - without success... i.e. my trial already failed at the CDC-Processor (with a dockerized NiFi and the org.mariadb.jdbc.Driver). Is MariaDB known to not work? PS: without the Distributed-Map-Cache-Client - it works (of course I don't get the table and column names - which I guess would be "more than just nice"... with the DMCC I get a JDBC error "creating binlog enrichment"
