MSCK REPAIR HIVE EXTERNAL TABLES

Hello Community, I have a daily ingestion of data in to HDFS . From data into HDFS I generate Hive external tables partitioned by date . My qestion is as follows , should I run MSCK REPAIR TABLE tablename after each data ingestion , in this case I have to run the command each day. Hello , even though I edited the pg_hba.conf file as mentioned above, I am asked to enter the postgresql data base password while copying the postgresql JDBC driver into sqoop client library . I am doubting about replacing the 0.0.0.0/0 md5 with the current sandbox IP , May you please guide me about resolving this issue . Otherwise I am using the HDP 2.5 Regards ... View more
