How do I fix KEYTRUSTEE stuck in "Activating" state for weeks?

I tried to install the 5.3 KEYTRUSTEE parcel several weeks ago, and it has been permanently stuck in the Activating state ever since. Now I can't add new hosts to the cluster because they also get stuck in the activating state. At this point, I don't care really about key trustee and I just want to stop/revert the parcel activation and continue merrily on my way. How can I do that?

The activations are probably not completing successfully, making it stuck. Check agent logs for any clue to why activation's failing.

Restarting all agents may help with resetting internal state and re-trying activation.

If all of that fails, you can force de-activate the parcel using the API.

Hi Thom,

I`m also facing same issue in "Sqoop-Netazza Connector Activation". Could you please share the API script to skip or kill the activation step.
